Why didn’t QPR make more signings in January?
West London Sport’s Ian McCullough is joined by former QPR forward Kevin Gallen and Jim Frayling to discuss Rangers’ transfer window.

Does anyone commenting on here hate Les? he’s one of our legends, now in a job where fans are asking – what DOES he do? – thats not hate, its just a question.

Most of the Les-haters seem to have no memory or thought about what he’s done to stabilise the club behind the scenes after the madness of the ‘Four-Year Plan’ and all that rubbish. Let alone any acknowledgement about how hard the job actually is when the club can’t go round spaffing money up the wall like certain other clubs.

Les Ferdinand is just at QPR fir the money. He wouldn’t get a job elsewhere and he knows it. Disgraceful he’s still at QPR. Get rid of him. The only way forward for QPR. Les, all QPR supporters want you gone. Man up and leave and stop destroying QPR

I have said this elsewhere and I make no apology for saying it again. Most people who work hard for a living have (and take) the responsibility for working hard and working well. Everyone in the ‘real’ world understands the need for accountability and be deemed culpable if they haven’t worked hard or the best of their ability. Yet week in week out the supporters see these part timers not put in a full shift, become sloppy after 80 minutes (if not before) and then not be held accountable.
If they score less than 6 in averaged performance ratings they should donate an increasing amount (as their performance rating drops below 6) of their salary for that week’ s inability to perform to expected standards, to a charity, to nurses, to the London Air Ambulance, anything other than going home and thinking ‘I didn’t play well (again!) but, so what, I still got paid!! Make them culpable for not performing – just as we in the real world (who earn our money to pay to watch them) have to be!

Totally agree, why do the owners not sell and let someone with more organised ambition take over. What does Les Ferdinand do as Director of football?

QPR top of the championship for week then terrible defending and shameful performances usual qpr every season the same doesn’t matter who manager, Why?
We need to sign a defender to organise the defence and a midfielder to drive the players and rollick the team when they are crap. Warnock signed Clinton hill and Shaun Derry these players got us promoted.
I feel sorry for the supporters that travel to watch these embarrassing performances week in week out.
