‘Unfinished business’ as Wells returns to QPR
Nahki Wells has told QPR’s website he can perform better than he did for the club last season.
Wells, who spent last term on loan at Loftus Road, has returned from Burnley for another season on loan.
West London Sport revealed that the striker was being lined up for a pre-deadline move back to Loftus Road.
Wells made 40 appearances for Rangers last season and scored seven goals.
And he believes R’s fans did not see the best of him during that spell in west London.
“They have only seen sparks of what I am capable of,” he said.
“They didn’t see it enough and now I have the opportunity to right those wrongs.”
“I am thankful the opportunity has presented itself to return. I feel I have some unfinished business and still have a lot to offer so I want to get my head down and focus.”
Meanwhile, Massimo Luongo completed a deadline-day move to Sheffield Wednesday.
West London Sport revealed earlier this summer that Rangers were ready to sell Luongo and that Wednesday were interested.

You might well get a pleasant surprise @ 3.00pm Saturday – you are joining a far better squad than last season. Onwards & upwards.

Welcome back Nahki. If he means scoring more goals, then fair enough. If he means working harder for the team as a whole, I fail to see how he could better last season.
