QPR have told Watford they will have to pay a significant chunk of Samba Diakite’s wages if they are to sign the midfielder on loan.
Rangers boss Harry Redknapp, who previously insisted Diakite was back in his plans and unavailable for move, now says the Mali international can leave.
Watford are keen to agree a deal for Diakite, but Redknapp warned: “We would let him go out on loan if someone wants to take him, but they’ve got to take his contract.
“If the right offer came in then we wouldn’t stand in his way. But we wouldn’t loan him to someone who wants to take only a small part of his wages – no-one does us any favours.”
Diakite, who recently turned 25, was signed from French club Nancy in January 2012.
He has been overlooked since Redknapp’s arrival at Loftus Road and has not made a league appearance this season.

Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick, Frank Lampard & Joe Cole all came through the West Ham youth system while Harry was in charge. I know what people will say, Tony Carr was the head of the academy but if you take that approach then no manager has ever developed a player as there's always a youth coach.
Also, a chap called Gareth Bale wasnt exactly tearing up the league before Harry got hold of him.

Harry didn't pay the stupid wages, that was mark hughes. Harry signed Chris Samba and got all of our money back, signed Remy for £8m and he is now worth £18-20m and bought Charlie Austin 15 goals so far and Matty Philips for a bargain. Yes mistakes were made but not by Harry. All of his deals have been fantastic, BAE at left back, Richard Dunne on a freebie, you guys should know your stuff before commenting and we will go straight up as champions this season. Come on u R's!!!!!!

Sounds if you have overspent, you have brought and loaned so many players on ridiculous salaries, its unreal, and you are still buying and loaning. Now you are trying to get some money back, fair play , but no other team in the championship, will pay the contract wages you are paying him, not even half of it.
What happens if QPR don't go up, it could get messy.
