Praise for Dickie after QPR draw
Mark Warburton praised Rob Dickie after QPR picked up a point at Millwall.
Dickie was outstanding for Rangers in their 1-1 draw at The Den, where Warburton’s side ended a three-match losing run.
And boss Warburton believes there is plenty more to come from the centre-back.
“He’s had a number of good games,” Warburton said.
“He’s getting better, Rob. He’s a young guy, has done very well and is still learning.
“He’s a very talented defender and there’s a lot more to come from him.
“It was a very comfortable performance tonight and he answered a lot of questions aerially and on the floor.
“I’m pleased for him. He’s a good player and he worked hard.”
Warburton also praised Lyndon Dykes for his performance but admitted he missed a “massive chance” to put Rangers 2-0 up after Ilias Chair’s cracking strike.
Soon after firing the visitors ahead, Chair teed up Dykes only for the striker to see a tame shot saved.

Ernie,
You might be a fan of QPR but, if anyone is going to take your suggestions seriously, please speak English and in an adult way, this will then make your point worth reading.
With 20m in the Bank and get 5m to spend on your squad, I could spend that on one player, let alone 5 or six. I say sack the finance guy, get him out. I know his reply already – we are nearly bankrupt and need to keep that money, not spend it on players, there is your answer, you can’t build a squad on 5m, and if you do, the drop is coming and its crap to watch.

If you want some data on how poor Dykes has been suggest you type his name into the football critic website. They score out of 10. Check it yourself but here it is:
Derby 5.8
Blackburn 5.8
Serbia 5.6
Israel 6.4
Watford 6
Rotherham 7.2
Brentford 7
Bristol City 5.9
Huddersfield 5.1
Millwall 6

Not sure why Chair was taken off, he was our standout performer. When he left out attack dwindled to nothing. Barber is generally in the right place at the right time but seriously needs to work on his passing. Millwall did well to keep OS it of the game and I think Dykes needs a rest for a few weeks…

Dickie did make some good interceptions granted but too often he is caught out of position and rugby tackles the opposition. He needs to read the game better to avoid all the extra yellows and a red now and again he is going collect. As for the rest of the team, Dykes is a carthorse and has been found out at a level higher than the Scottish Premiership, and we continue with the “keep ball plan” that results is how many shots at goal ? 4 ! Really ! We will go down on this strategy. Millwall didn’t have to do too much to look better than us, and it was only for a lack of confidence that they didn’t take all the points. Bonne comes on and contributes zero and again Charlie Kelman warms the bench ! His agent will be on the blower in January mark my words !!
