QPR defender Osman Kakay faces at least a couple more weeks on the sidelines.
Kakay has not featured since the home defeat against Reading on 12 December.
Neither he nor the injury-prone Lee Wallace would have been available for Saturday’s game at Luton, which was called off because of a Covid-19 outbreak at the Bedfordshire club.
Rangers manager Mark Warburton said: “Lee is probably a little bit nearer than Oz. Lee is probably seven to 10 days away and Oz is maybe a week behind him.
“They’re working hard. These injuries have really impacted upon us. But I hope we’re not too far away now.”
Meanwhile, Warburton believes the football season should be paused because of the rise in Covid-19 infections.
