Verdict on new QPR training ground could arrive soon
QPR could discover within a fortnight whether they will be able to turn the Warren Farm Sports Centre near Osterley Park into their new training ground.
Rangers have submitted plans to Ealing Council – and it is believed they may receive a verdict by the middle of this month.
A number of other parties have also expressed a keen interest in redeveloping the site, including the wealthy owners of Southall FC.
But QPR chief executive Philip Beard recently told West London Sport he was “quietly confident” the club would get the green light.
Their current training base in Harlington is well below usual Premier League standards and moving to a new headquarters has been a priority for some time.
