QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo has been included in the Australia squad for a World Cup qualifier against Thailand.
The match takes place on 15 November and Luongo will fly out to join the Socceroos squad following Rangers’ game against Nottingham Forest on 5 November.
Meanwhile, R’s youngster Niko Hamalainen, who made his full debut at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, has been called up by Finland’s Under-20s.
On Tuesday, QPR striker Idrissa Sylla was included in the Guinea squad for a World Cup qualifier against DR Congo on 13 November, while Rangers’ teenage goalkeeper Marcin Brzozowski was called up by Poland’s Under-19s.
