Taarabt set to finally leave Rangers
QPR look set to release Adel Taarabt following talks with Moroccan’s representatives.
Taarabt, 26, has a year remaining on his contract at Loftus Road but is keen to secure a move to Benfica, who are interested in signing him.
He was the star of QPR’s 2010-11 promotion-winning campaign and played a key role in keeping the club in the top flight during the second half of the following season.
But Taarabt, signed from Tottenham in 2010, has been desperate for a move for some time and his attitude has been called in to question on numerous occasions.
Accused of being overweight and refusing to train properly by former Rangers manager Harry Redknapp, Taarabt spent most of the season before last out on loan, first at Fulham and then AC Milan.
Taarabt was unable to secure a permanent move to Italy and spent last season as a fringe player at Rangers, making only seven league appearances.

taarabat has been rs most skillful player since the marsh and bowels days, and the most recent managers (4 of them) only wanted workers in the the team as we were relegation candidates thinking that workers will save us
prima donnas cannot be told what to do they just go an play their game creating and scoring there are enough defenders and midfield defenders to cope with the attacks of the oposition you dont see messie or ronaldo + defending they are there to create and score not defend why should taarabat do defending jobs and forward creation they cannot tire them self and risk injury defending
in my opinion over the past 4 seasons i have seen less skillful players playing in front of taarabat and he would be a home watching tv i would be pis==ed off too if i was him so his attitude was up yours and 25k a week thats fine thanks
finally players are bigger than the club today so you have to play them if you want to stay up good luck adel a great player
