Leroy Fer is poised to join Swansea City on loan from QPR for the rest of the season.
The Dutch midfielder, 26, is one of several players Rangers have been hoping to offload before tonight’s transfer deadline.
He agreed a loan move to Sunderland in the summer but the deal was called off after he underwent medical, and subsequent talks with PSV Eindhoven ended without an agreement between the two clubs.
This time Fer looks likely to leave Loftus Road, with Swansea – who also discussed a possible move for Sandro prior to the R’s midfielder joining West Brom – keen to sign him.
