Keeper Dieng scores last-gasp equaliser to snatch draw for QPR
Goalkeeper Seny Dieng scored an incredible injury-time equaliser to snatch a point for QPR.
Rangers, two down at half-time, pulled off an unlikely comeback at the Stadium of Light, with Ilias Chair netting with a free-kick with three minutes remaining and Dieng then going forward for a corner in the final moments and scoring.
An under-strength QPR side produced an abject first-half performance and trailed to goals from Ross Wallace and Ellis Simms.
Wallace was on hand to score after Dan Neil’s shot was parried by Dieng, before Simms pounced on the loose ball after Stefan Johansen’s challenge on Alex Pritchard and fired home.
The half-time introduction of Tyler Roberts made a positive difference and the on-loan Leeds forward, who scored on his debut in midweek, again made an impact after coming on.
Roberts, though, missed a golden chance to pull a goal back when he shot wide of the target after combining with Chair.
However, Rangers still somehow managed to come away with a draw.
QPR: Dieng, Kakay, Dickie, Dunne, Hamalainen (Bonne 90), Field, Johansen (Dozzell 75), Chair, Adomah (Roberts 45), Shodipo (Armstrong 81), Dykes.
Subs not used: Walsh, Gubbins, Masterson.

Having just watched Man U on MOTD. I want to withdraw my earlier post and replace it with this one. At least we fought back. I still believe we should have won and won easily 3-0 but we cannot lay back and allow the opposition to advance and score with ease, we still have to score more than we let in these days, days I thought last season were long gone. Still, by Man U’s standards, we did a good job. Oh to be a Man U supporter these days!

. If ever there was a game we should have won 3-0 its this one, instead we got a lucky break courtesy of Sonny and end up with a draw. Someone needs to have a talk with this lot before its too late.
