Stones sign Oldham striker Reid on loan

Wealdstone have signed striker Alex Reid on loan from Oldham Athletic.

Reid, 29, was at Aston Villa as a youngster and his career has included spells at Walsall, Wrexham, Stockport, Fleetwood and Swedish side Ange IF.

“Alex is a proven goalscorer at this level and we are delighted to bring him in on loan from Oldham,” said Stones boss Matt Taylor.

“At 29 years of age he has lots of experience and from speaking to him I know just how excited he is to score goals for Wealdstone.”

Meanwhile, defender Deon Woodman has joined National League South side St Albans on loan.

Woodman signed for Wealdstone during the summer after being released by QPR.
