Fernandes responds on Twitter to criticism over Holloway exit
Tony Fernandes has responded on Twitter to criticism from some QPR fans over the decision to sack Ian Holloway.
The co-chairman suggested to supporters the decision would soon be explained to them.
Holloway, who was in his second spell as Rangers manager and had a year remaining on his contract, was sacked last week, with Fernandes keen to install Steve McClaren.
While some @QPRFC fans are not happy at change of manager soon we can explain all.Ian Holloway’s remains everything I have said in the past.

We would like to thank him for all that he has done. And he’s done a lot in stabilising he club . The right appointment at the time.

Letting go of good people is the hardest thing to do but as this club matures sometimes painful decisions have to be made.
