Benoit Assou-Ekotto has a knee problem and will miss QPR’s trip to Barnsley along with Danny Simpson and Clint Hill.
On-loan Tottenham left-back Assou-Ekotto has returned to the north London club for treatment and to undergo a scan.
But Rangers boss Harry Redknapp believes the Cameroon international will be available for the play-offs.
“He’s gone back to Spurs but hopefully he should be able to train with us on Monday,” said Redknapp, who plans to rest Richard Dunne.
Simpson will not be risked as he is carrying a knock, while Hill has been struggling with a virus.
Armand Traore “needs to play” following his recent injury lay-off, according to Redknapp, and looks likely to start at Oakwell.
Meanwhile, teenagers Coll Donaldson and Michael Petrasso are set to make their debuts.
