Sheffield Wednesday interested in QPR winger Shodipo

Sheffield Wednesday are interested in QPR winger Olamide Shodipo.

The two clubs have been discussing a potential loan deal for the 24-year-old, who impressed in League One last season while on loan at Oxford United.


Shodipo’s current Rangers contract is due to expire next summer, although the club hold an option to extend the deal by a year.

He has made 32 first-team appearances for the R’s, the majority of which have been as a substitute.

He has had three spells out on loan, having played for Port Vale and Colchester prior to his stint at Oxford.
