Rowlands set to leave QPR
Martin Rowlands is set to leave QPR by mutual consent.
An agreement has been reached with the midfielder, who moved to Loftus Road from Brentford in 2003.
Rowlands, 32, made over 200 appearances for the R’s, was a key player in their promotion from the third tier in 2004 and a stand-out performer in the Championship.
But he been blighted by injury problems, and cruciate damage effectively ended his Rangers career – just as he was establishing himself in the Republic of Ireland side.
His last appearance for the club came in this season’s Carling Cup defeat against Rochdale. Since then he has had a spell on loan at Wycombe.

An absolute legend but injuries have taken there toll and would most likely be very much out of his depth at premier league level.
Thanks for everything Rowly
