Redknapp unsure over deal for Spurs man

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has admitted he is unsure whether he will be able to sign Jake Livermore on loan from Tottenham.

Redknapp agreed a deal with his former club to take Livermore, 23, to Loftus Road for the rest of the season before Spurs midfielder Sandro suffered a knee injury against Rangers last weekend.

Tottenham were reported to have scrapped the loan deal but Rangers are confident they will eventually get Livermore, especially if the north London club are able to sign a midfielder.

“I’m not sure. They’ve picked up an injury to Sandro unfortunately and it’s up to Tottenham now whether they want to loan him out,” said Redknapp.

Rangers are also still waiting confirmation that Yann M’Vila will be signing.

Terms were agreed but Rennes have since suggested that other clubs have made approaches for the France international.

“He’s a player we’re interested in and it seems several other clubs are interested,” said Redknapp.

“The chairman and chief executive are dealing with it. He’s a player you’d like at your football club.”
