Redknapp ponders U-turn over Maiga

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has been offered another chance to sign West Ham striker Modibo Maiga.

Redknapp recently agreed for Maiga to train with Rangers after the 26-year-old was told he was free to leave Upton Park, where he has failed to impress since arriving from Sochaux in 2012.

Redknapp decided to look elsewhere but with Charlie Austin injured and other potential signings having fallen through, a deal for Maiga is being considered.

Rangers expect to complete the loan signing of Manchester United striker Will Keane.
