QPR manager not looking to sign Maiga
QPR manager Harry Redknapp currently has no plans to sign West Ham striker Modibo Maiga.
Redknapp agreed for Maiga to train with Rangers after the 26-year-old was told he was free to leave Upton Park, where he has failed to impress since arriving from Sochaux in 2012.
Rangers were subsequently tipped to sign the player, with West Ham keen for him to leave on loan with a view to a permanent move in the summer.
But Redknapp, who wants at least one forward during this month’s transfer window, is looking elsewhere.
His targets include Inter Milan’s Ishak Belfodil although the deal is complicated, partly because the Algerian is co-owned by Parma, who want him sold for a hefty transfer fee.
