Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has insisted that he still has no regrets about letting Adel Taarabt leave.
After a difficult start in the Premier League, Taarabt has impressed under Mark Hughes at QPR and scored their winner against Spurs on Saturday.
“He played against us at White Hart Lane earlier in the season and was useless,” said Redknapp.
“Adel’s got nothing to prove to me – I’ve rated him since he was a kid. I know he’s a good player. He just wasn’t going to get in the team.
“We all know he’s a talented player with the ball – and now Mark’s got him going working harder than he’s ever worked in his life.”
