Redknapp confirms interest in Spurs man
QPR manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed his interest in Jake Livermore.
The former Tottenham boss wants to make a number of signings during the transfer window and is keen to add at least one midfielder to his squad.
And with Spurs reported to be willing to let Livermore go, Redknapp believes the 23-year-old England international could be an option.
He said: “Jake’s a good player. I’ve got bags of time for Jake as a player. Yes, it’s a possibility.
“I like him and if Tottenham want to do something then he’s a player who would interest me.”

Jumbo – I assume you do know because it was widely reported that dawson was in talks to join QPR in the summer, same with huddlestone and stoke, and both players declined the move. If spurs tried to sell them in the summer then maybe they will again in january.

I presume you are joking Ale?! Lose Parker and Ekotto, arguably two of our most consistent players last season with Assou being our only proper left back! What have you been smoking? Why don’t we do what Harry did last year and sell/loan good squad players so we’ll be shafted for the second half of the season and watch the first 11 succumb to fatigue and blow our chances of finishing in the top 4!

You really notice how annoying Harry is talking about players when he’s not your manager. Also, he may as well just send the journo’s a template statement with the (Players name) section all that needs changing and say they can safely use it to describe his interest in any English player who has played premier league football before.

Livermore is a decent young player with a good attitude – not many of those in the qpr squad. Harry should get Parker too as part of the deal too as Spurs never wanted him in the first place. Huddlestone, Ekotto, and Dawson worth a bid too as I expect Levy will want to lighten the wage bill further to get Snider on £200k 🙂
