QPR boss Harry Redknapp says Burnley’s recent injury worries are unlikely to stop them winning automatic promotion.
Rangers have all but given up hope of a top-two finish after five defeats in eight games left them 10 points behind the second-placed Clarets.
Burnley have been able to field a settled side for most of the season but now face being without top scorer Danny Ings for a spell, while impressive right-back Kieran Trippier has picked up a hamstring injury.
However, Redknapp said: “I still think it’s going to be hard for us to catch them, but we’ve got to keep going.
“Ings has picked up an injury and he’ll be a big loss for them. But they’ve got a good cushion now.
“We lost games that we could have won. We’d be right there with them now with a couple more wins.”
