QPR are set to confirm the arrival of Mike Rigg from Manchester City as technical director.
Rigg worked with Rangers boss Mark Hughes at Eastlands and Blackburn Rovers. He has also been the Welsh FA’s technical director and Sheffield Wednesday’s academy manager.
He has left City, who appointed him in 2008, and will start work at Rangers on Monday.
Hughes told West London Sport in February that he was reviewing the set-up at Loftus Road ahead of possible changes behind the scenes.
