Rangers star set for final stage of recovery from injury
QPR’s Alejandro Faurlin is due to travel to Spain later this week before returning to England for the final stage of his recovery from a knee injury.
Faurlin has been sidelined since suffering cruciate damage during an FA Cup tie against MK Dons in January and is hoping to be fit for the start of next season.
He has received much of his treatment in Spain, where he was operated on by respected surgeon Ramon Cugat.
“We’re really pleased with how he’s progressing,” said Rangers manager Mark Hughes.
“He’ll probably go back to Spain for another week and then after that he’ll be back doing his rehab here.”
