Adam Francis, son of QPR legend Gerry Francis, has been handed a professional contract at Loftus Road.
Twelve months ago Rangers deferred making a judgement on the teenager’s long-term future by offering a third-year scholarship, giving him extra time to prove himself after a season affected by injury.
That deal expired last week, when he turned 19. He was born the year his father managed the R’s to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League.
He has now signed a one-year pro deal, as has Taylor Parmenter.
