Rangers to assess new Hoilett injury
QPR are assessing Junior Hoilett after he suffered an apparent recurrence of a hamstring problem.
The injury-plagued winger was helped off the pitch after 12 minutes of Rangers’ 2-1 victory against Doncaster at Loftus Road, where Charlie Austin headed in a late winner.
“It’s a recurrence of his hamstring injury, which is really disappointing,” said assistant manager Kevin Bond.
“I don’t yet know the ins and outs of it – we’ll need to speak to the medical people. It’s just a shame we lost him so early in the game.”
