Ramsey still believes QPR can stay up
Chris Ramsey insists he still believes QPR can get the points they need to avoid relegation back to the Championship.
Rangers are one off the bottom of the table and have lost five of their six matches since Ramsey took charge following the departure of Harry Redknapp.
But the head coach says there have been signs that they are capable of winning enough of their final nine matches to escape the drop.
Ramsey said: “I still think we can get the points we need. If we stop believing now that we can stay up, then the whole season’s been awash.
“We’re not looking at it like that. Can we maintain the grit and determination we’ve shown in the last few games? And can we win the next game and then take that into the next game and the next game?
“I’m hoping that together we can get ourselves above that line and then start next season in the Premier League.”
Rangers face Everton at Loftus Road on Sunday and are hoping Mauricio Isla will be able to rejoin the squad following a knee injury.
