QPR’s Jack Robinson returned to action in an Under-23 game on Monday evening.
Robinson played the first half of the match against Bristol City at Ashton Gate, which ended in a goalless draw.
The left-back, signed from Liverpool in 2014, has not featured in a competitive match since finally making his Rangers debut in April.
That debut came more than a year after Robinson, 23, suffered cruciate knee ligament damage while playing for Huddersfield, who signed him on a season-long loan immediately after his move to QPR.
He hoped to be fully fit for the start of this season but has struggled with a shin injury and a niggling knee problem.
Rangers believe he will be available for first-team selection in around a month.
