QPR’s plan to build up Borysiuk’s fitness

QPR plan to organise at least one behind-closed-doors games during the forthcoming international break in order to help Ariel Borysiuk build up his match fitness.

The Polish midfielder, a summer signing from Legia Warsaw, made his R’s debut in Tuesday’s EFL Cup win against Rochdale after recovering from an ankle injury.

Manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said: “He needs more minutes and in the international week we will have a look and see if we can play games behind closed doors for him to get him playing as many minutes as possible.”

Borysiuk had an encouraging debut at Loftus Road, where he played for an hour before being substituted.

“It was nice to see Ariel back as he was very unfortunate with his injury,” Hasselbaink added.

“You have seen Ariel a little bit now. He likes a tackle, plays on the front foot and plays with his heart.”

  • Bendtner,is NOT the answer, why have we suddenly no money to buy a striker and another right back, this incomings don't equate to the money made on our outgoings, again I say why can't we afford a decent striker,I am not talking millions but surely we can spend a million or two and get a decent investment and not a 28 year old Dane who is bad both on and off the park!!.
