QPR have had an offer accepted for Exeter City winger David Wheeler.
It comes after Rangers made their move for the 26-year-old, having monitored his progress last season.
Wheeler, who joined Exeter from Staines Town in 2013, is expected to sign a three-year contract at Loftus Road.
He has made 151 league appearances for the Grecians, scoring 33 goals.
Meanwhile, Rangers boss Ian Holloway has predicted “mental” scramble for signings as clubs chase deals ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.
