QPR’s Cousins aiming to return for Burton game

Jordan Cousins has told QPR’s website he is looking to return to the squad for this weekend’s game against Burton.

The midfielder, who has not featured this season because of a hamstring injury, recently resumed full training.

“I’m looking to get myself in contention for this weekend, but also for the busy week of fixtures next week,” said Cousins.

Following Saturday’s match, Rangers are away at Barnsley next Tuesday and face Fulham three days later.

“Fitness-wise, I feel really good,” Cousins added.

“Obviously it’s going to take a bit of time to get back to full sharpness but now that I’m back to full training I feel I’m getting better and better every day.”
