QPR youngster’s loan deal cut short
Teenage defender Cole Kpekawa has returned to QPR after his loan spell at Portsmouth was cut short.
Rangers have announced they have recalled the 18-year-old, who was due to stay at Fratton Park until the end of the season.
Kpekawa, who is yet to play for QPR’s first team, made only two appearances for Pompey, his last coming in a 2-0 home defeat against Shrewsbury on 28 March.
He previously had a loan spell at Colchester, where he had six first-team outings.
Former QPR player and manager Gary Waddock is currently in caretaker charge at Portsmouth following the recent departure of Andy Awford.
