QPR midfielder Dylan Carreiro is keen to go out on loan.
Rangers’ Under-21s boss Marc Bircham has arranged loan moves for the likes of Tom Hitchcock and Mike Petrasso this season.
Hitchcock has been loaned to Crewe and more recently Rotherham, while winger Petrasso is currently at Oldham.
And Carrieiro, who was recently named the Canadian Under-20 player of the year, is keen to follow suit.
“I want to go out on loan. I want to keep improving and I think it would help,” said the 18-year-old.
“It’s great to see Mikey [Petrasso] doing well. I’m proud of him and hopefully I can go out on loan somewhere too.”
Carrieiro scored in a development-side friendly against Southend on Tuesday at Rangers’ Harlington training ground, where Bobby Zamora and Samba Diakite also found the net in a 3-3 draw.
“It was great for me to get a goal as I’ve been out injured for two months – my last game was the game against Crystal Palace in November,” Carrieiro explained.
“That was our first game back since the break. It was nice to blow the cobwebs away and it was a decent game.”
