QPR youngster heading to Grimsby on loan

QPR youngster Brandon Comley is set to join Grimsby Town on loan.

It will be Comley’s second loan move – he played 13 times for Carlisle United during the second half of last season.

The 20-year-old midfielder has made two first-team appearances for QPR, both as a substitute.

Rangers are also keen for Joe Lumley to go out on loan but, as the transfer deadline approached, there was no sign of a move in the offing for the goalkeeper.
