QPR youngster gets new deal and loan move to Spain

QPR have extended teenage striker Ody Alfa’s contract and sent him on loan to Spanish third-tier club CD Atletico Baleares for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old, whose deal was due to expire this summer, has been given a one-year extension.

Alfa is yet to make a senior appearance for Rangers but has played twice this season for the club’s development side, scoring twice.

QPR have for some time been looking into the possibility of their young players moving abroad on loan.
