Tommie Hoban faces a long spell on the sidelines after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament.
Hoban, 23, was QPR’s top target this summer as they looked to bring in a centre-back.
A loan move was put on hold when he suffered the injury in training and it was initially thought the problem was less serious.
But scans later revealed cruciate damage, prompting Rangers to recently sign defender Alex Baptiste.

Can't understand why we're even looking at a centre half when what we have lacked over the last 3 seasons is a striker, goals win games, which is why we don't.
