QPR want to turn the Warren Farm Sports Centre near Osterley Park into their training ground.
Rangers have been searching for a new training facility for some time and three possible locations have been identified.
But the Warren Farm site is their first choice and could be their base by the start of next season.
The club’s Harlington training ground is well below Premier League standard and Rangers have long been keen to move elsewhere.
Their future plans were the key to convincing Mark Hughes to succeed the sacked Neil Warnock as manager this week.
