Idrissa Sylla’s early goal gave QPR their second home triumph in three days. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 1-0 victory over Sheffield United.
The Rangers goalkeeper produced low stops to deny Leon Clarke and Billy Sharp either side of the interval.
His leadership qualities in a depleted defence were evident again as he put in some vital challenges and won more than his fair share of headers.
Looks the part in the central defensive role and showed composure and awareness to help Rangers secure their first clean sheet in six games.

Made a crucial sliding challenge to halt the run of Enda Stevens early. But the flip side was his dubious positioning to let Clarke in for a clear shot later in the game.
Still finding his feet after a lengthy injury absence, Cousins looked uncomfortable at times – particularly on the defensive side – but his booking for a challenge on David Brooks seemed harsh.
A commanding figure in the initial stages and, although his performance dipped as the game wore on, he was unlucky not to score with a deft turn and shot in the second half.

Scowen’s work-rate could not be faulted as he consistently won tackles, linked play and never allowed the Blades to dominate in the centre of the park.
As always, Freeman was fizzing with enthusiasm and energy. But his tendency to lose his footing after manoeuvring himself into shooting positions can be frustrating.
Started on the right-hand side but was soon switched to the left flank, where he tracked back efficiently and got stuck in as and when required.
Worked hard, held the ball up to good effect and delivered a great cross to Sylla in the first half. But he also squandered a trio of scoring chances.

The striker could hardly believe his good fortune when Jamal Blackman’s error gifted him a goal in the fourth minute. He almost added another with an audacious 30-yard effort to test Blackman’s replacement Simon Moore.
The young right-back replaced Cousins after an hour and added some solidity to the back line, as well as slinging a couple of decent crosses into the Blades’ penalty area.
Brought on to replace Sylla for the final quarter of the game. Missed a good chance when he rifled a shot over the bar.
