QPR’s encouraging run came to an end at Loftus Road. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 2-1 defeat against Burton.
Had little chance for either Burton goal. Kept Rangers in the game with a second-half save to deny Lloyd Dyer.
Had another decent game and his right-sided partnership with Pawel Wszolek again showed plenty of promise. Had a late chance when he headed over from Kazenga LuaLua’s cross.
Strong in the challenge and looked to bring the ball forward when possible.
Sloppy at times in the first half. Overall he was solid enough. Caused some problems for Burton when he was sent up front late on.
Neat and tidy while trying to get forward on the left. Delivered a couple of decent balls into the box.
Substituted after a subdued first half in which he picked up an Achilles injury.
His conditioning has improved, making him appear less one-paced than he has previously. Composed on the ball but will face bigger tests against sides that move the ball around faster than Burton.
Not at his best but still managed to create openings. Involved in the build up to QPR’s goal and later created another chance for Conor Washington.
Worked hard on the right once again, but this time without any real success.
Lively in spells on his full debut and delivered a couple of useful crosses in the second half.
Not what Ian Holloway is looking for. His movement and link-up play were simply not good enough and at times his frustration showed despite him being warned by the Rangers boss to curb his emotions. Not a lot went his way, but he displayed an alarming willingness to quickly give up. And when the occasional chance did come his way, he lacked composure.
Bright after coming on and showed great persistence for his goal.
