QPR trio to feature in Under-21 match
Sandro is set to feature in another game for QPR’s development side this evening.
Summer signings Sebastian Polter and Ben Gladwin are also scheduled to play in the match at Loftus Road, where Sandro returned to first-team action when he came on as a second-half substitute against Bolton on Saturday.
The Brazilian midfielder has been building up his fitness in Under-21 matches since finally returning to London after a long-standing issue with his visa was resolved.
Striker Polter was also a substitute at the weekend, having recovered from a hamstring problem, while Gladwin’s start to the season has been affected by an injury too.
The match will be Kevin O’Connor’s second in charge of Brentford’s development side since the former Bees stalwart was placed in the charge after Lee Carsley stepped up to take over from sacked head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen.
