QPR boss Harry Redknapp says his summer signings are now beginning to gel.
Redknapp has frequently pointed to a lack of fitness among his new recruits as the reason for Rangers’ poor start to the season.
Asked recently if those players were beginning to settle, he said: “No, not really. I’d be lying if I said yes.”
But with Sandro having completed 90 minutes against Aston Villa, Eduardo Vargas scoring twice against Liverpool and Leroy Fer also catching the eye, the Rangers boss believes they have now turned the corner.
“We’re starting to gel a bit more as a team,” Redknapp said.
“We brought in a few players late to try to just give us a bit more and I’ve not been able to get them on the pitch. We haven’t been able to get up and running.
“Fer is starting to get fit. We’ve got 90 minutes out of Sandro too and he gives us aggression in midfield.
“And Vargas is settling in – I can see real positives with Vargas and think he’s going to do well for us.”
