Jamie Mackie is due to return to action later today.
Mackie recently returned to full training and is scheduled to feature for QPR’s development side in a match against Watford.
The popular 31-year-old, who is in his second spell at Rangers, has not featured this season.
He suffered ankle ligament damage in July as he was on course for a comeback from a long-term hamstring injury.
Mackie wanted to be included in the first-team squad for Saturday’s match at Rotherham but has been told he must prove his fitness before being considered.
