QPR defender Toni Leistner has reacted angrily to a story about his relationship with boss Mark Warburton.
It comes after Leistner was quoted as saying he “probably wouldn’t go for a beer” with Warburton, who stripped the German of the Rangers captaincy and dropped him at the start of the season.
Leistner, who eventually regained his place in the team, took exception to the implication that he has fallen out with his manager.
Posting on Twitter, the player said he was “misquoted and really annoyed” about the story and that he had “no issues” with Warburton.
