Deal agreed for Freeman to join Sheffield United
QPR and Sheffield United have agreed a deal for Luke Freeman to join the promoted club.
Rangers recently rejected an offer from the Blades for Freeman but negotiations have continued and he will be leaving Loftus Road.
United and Middlesbrough had offers for Freeman rejected last summer and he has since extended his contract.
But United boss Chris Wilder has remained keen to sign him and Freeman’s move is likely to be completed in the next 24 hours.

Jason – just goes to show what a bargain you have managed to get from our club. You will soon see why he HAS to be worth double what your lot paid (assuming he copes with premiership football)

He stood out from the rest. Sorry to lose a class player. Can we now concentrate on getting a decent striker.

It was obvious he wasnt just going to swap one championship club for another – whats the point? Even Matt Smith shied away from Leeds preferring to stay down south. It will be interesting to see if Leeds can replicate (or better) last seasons efforts – most clubs cant manage 2 exceptional seasons on the trot.
