QPR set to confirm Scowen signing

QPR are expected to confirm the signing of Josh Scowen on Saturday.

West London Sport recently revealed that Rangers had offered a contract to the Barnsley midfielder and subsequently also revealed that he had agreed a move to Loftus Road.

Scowen, 24, is set to join the R’s on a Bosman free transfer and the deal can be rubber-stamped once his Barnsley contract expires this weekend.

The Hertfordshire-born Scowen joined the Tykes from Wycombe in January 2015 and has made 96 league appearances for them, scoring 10 goals.

QPR also want to sign Barnsley right-back Andy Yiadom.
