QPR are expected to complete the signing of Exeter City winger David Wheeler later today.
Rangers had an offer accepted for the 26-year-old on Tuesday, having made their move after monitoring him in recent months.
Wheeler, who joined Exeter from Staines Town in 2013, is expected to sign a three-year contract at Loftus Road.
He has made 151 league appearances for the Grecians, scoring 33 goals.
Meanwhile, Rangers boss Ian Holloway has predicted “mental” scramble for signings as clubs chase deals ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.
