QPR reignite interest in left-back Cox

QPR have reignited their interest in left-back George Cox.

Rangers tried to sign Cox, 24, from Fortuna Sittard a year ago but were unable to agree a deal to bring him to west London.


He now has a year left on his contract with the Dutch club.

Cox was signed from Brighton in 2020 after he impressed during a season-long loan.

He is keen to return to England and has remained on QPR’s radar.

Meanwhile, Yoann Barbet has confirmed he is leaving the club.
