QPR are reconsidering plans to send teenage goalkeeper Joe Walsh out on loan.
Walsh, 19, was signed from Gillingham in January.
He was regarded as one for the future and it was initially expected that he would be loaned out this summer in order for him to gain more first-team experience.
Rangers signed Jordan Archer last month as cover for first-choice keeper Seny Dieng.
However, Walsh has impressed in training and is pushing for a place in the squad for Saturday’s Championship opener against Millwall.
Keeper Dillon Barnes, meanwhile, could join Doncaster Rovers on loan.
Rangers are also looking to arrange loan moves for defender Conor Masterson and midfielder Faysal Bettache.
