QPR have been praised for producing a 3D match programme for Monday’s London derby against West Ham.
Rangers will be the first London-based Premier League club to bring out a 3D edition in what Jack Mitton from the Independent View Football Programme Magazine described as “a very bold move.”
“It’s a great addition to the programme hobby. I’m really looking forward to seeing it,” Mitton added.
“I think the 3D programme is a great concept. Traditionalists might not always embrace it, but if clubs only catered for collectors they wouldn’t sell that many programmes.
“What this does is make the programme attractive to young fans, which is really important, and offers something fresh and interesting.
“QPR are a club that always tries to do new things and come up with fresh ideas, and I think they’re to be congratulated for this.
“It’s a massive challenge in many ways because with this kind of programme the deadlines tend to be earlier and there’s lots of work involved. That’s why it’s a very bold move.
“If any of that goes wrong then you could have problem, but I’m sure there won’t be and QPR will do a great job.”
