QPR will play their part in honouring Jamie Carragher in the final match of the Liverpool stalwart’s career.
Rangers players will form a guard of honour when the retiring defender comes onto the pitch at Anfield.
And visiting captain Clint Hill will present Carragher with a memento in the centre-circle before the kick-off.
“Jamie Carragher has been one of the great pros – a top, top professional,” said QPR boss Harry Redknapp.
“He’s a great guy with a great knowledge of the game. He’s a great leader and everyone would love a Jamie Carragher in their team.
“He’s one of those boys who drags the team along. Him and Liverpool have been very lucky to have him and Steven Gerrard at the club.
“He’s been of massive importance to Liverpool. He’s up there with the Tommy Smiths, Emlyn Hughes’ and Phil Thompsons – all the great players they’ve had over the years.”
