QPR will play behind-closed-doors friendlies against Chelsea and West Ham this week in preparation for the Championship season being restarted. Rangers are scheduled to resume at home to Barnsley on Saturday, 20 June. The original fixture was due to take place on 14 March but the season was halted the day beforehand because of the coronavirus pandemic. Matches were suspended with Rangers unbeaten in six matches and having moved to within six points of the play-off places. The Barnsley game is scheduled to be followed by London derbies away to Charlton and at home to Fulham on 27 June and 30 June respectively. The EFL's planned restart date is provisional, subject to safety requirements being met.
